CONFERENCE AND FAIR ON INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION
For the second year in a row, we are organising this event with the goal to improve the quality of the education in Serbia. Our focus is on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education.
‘New Technologies in Education’ will be held at Belexpocentar and in the conference facilities of the Holiday Inn Hotel in Belgrade, on 27 and 28 February 2015.
With the event, we want to support teaching and non-teaching members of staff in schools and universities in Serbia and around the region, as well as everyone involved in the modernisation of the educational process and better exploitation of possibilities new technologies offer. These important topics will be discussed at a large conference in Belgrade, and will be followed by an exhibition programme. At the fair, more than 40 companies, publishing houses and educational institutions from both Serbia, the region and the UK will present their solutions.
This two-day event will cover the following areas:
Best practice examples of ICT use in primary and secondary schools
Best practice examples of ICT use in higher education
Inclusive education and ICT support
The topics will be presented both in Serbian and English, and participation is free of charge. The activities will take place in several rooms simultaneously.
The event is organised in partnership with the British Embassy in Belgrade, the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit (Serbian Government), the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and other partners.
